In my food travels online, I recently came across a reference to West Virginia food fare called Pepperoni Rolls. My Dad was from West Virginia, and I have a tender spot in my heart for the state. So I was definitely interested in finding out more.
It appears that pepperoni rolls are a little like a calzone with cheese and pepperoni in them. The best are likely homemade with from scratch yeast rolls. And the worst are made with Pillsbury ready-made dough. But hey, even those are tasty.
