Commitment to reading and studying God’s Word

Currently I am still reading a little everyday trying to get through entire Bible.
My lifelong commitment once I finish, is to read and study everyday. There are so 
many reading and study guides and so much to learn. My husband knows the Bible pretty
well.  It was that Baptist upbringing, all the church and Sunday School.  And don't 
forget Vacation Bible School! He knew every answer in the Bible category on Jeopardy
last night. I love that about him. I want to learn more and more. Do any of you memorize
Bible verses?  I'd like to do a little of that too.  One that I know and love is:

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. 
Psalm 118:24
