My husband loves grits. His parents are from the South and he spent summers in
Alabama. I love casseroles. I don’t think they are necessarily a northern thing. They
seem to be suburban and possibly French. I am both of those things. Plus I was
born in the sixties. Casseroles were big then. I recently came across a recipe for Grits Casserole. It’s
got grits, of course. And cheese, italian sausage, onions. I’m going to make it
for my husband this weekend. Grits for him. Casserole for me. We’ll both like
it.
