I am pleased to announce the recent release of my new book, Dessert Haiku. I have been writing poetry and loving sweets my entire life. This book of Haiku poetry about desserts joins both of my passions.
Haiku are cool little poems that encapsulate an idea. I love the brevity of them. They are a refreshing contradiction to me: a long-winded, wordy and talkative soul. They require you to get to the point quickly and with few words.

Thanks! I feel like I don’t get a lot done. I know I do but there’s always more to do. Like my junk room. Laundry. I probably do to much but I enjoy it. I have always been that way. Even as a child I was drawing, gardening, writing poetry, being a detective, and spy. But sometimes I just sit and do nothing and that is good!
LOL! being a detective and spy. I guess you loved those old Nancy Drew mysteries too.
