Brown rice


My husband’s favorite starch is rice.  We eat brown rice.  I like it too and I am avoiding wheat so rice is a good substitute.  Rice can be eaten with breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, whatever.  It’s just a good staple to have around.

breakfast: brown rice with raisins, pecans, and milk (think rice pudding)

lunch: stir fry rice veggies and tofu

dinner: side for chili, soup, or meat and veggie

dessert (see breakfast) 🙂
