There is something surreal about Hopper in a subtle way. I like this piece. The dark colors are stylistically interesting to me.
Edward Hopper (July 22, 1882 – May 15, 1967) was most popularly known for his oil paintings. His spare and finely calculated renderings reflected his personal vision of modern American life. (from Wikipedia)
Wyeth and Hopper speak to me too. Thanks for sharing.
