Sad

Source
We live in a sad time. I saw
a woman standing up on the
subway holding on to a pole
with one hand and the other
hand holding a breakfast bar
that she was eating with her
eyes closed. This represents
so many sad things: being
overtired, working too hard,
rushing, stress, and mindless
eating and living.

Slow down everyone! Take a
deep breath! Get enough sleep.
Please. 🙂

Couldn’t agree more with this. Sometimes I find myself getting into work and realising that I haven’t had a single thought yet, I’ve just been on auto-pilot on the journey. I try to make sure I take my time and look around – I hope you do too!

  2. I used to do this too! I would always have a second job (convinced that what I needed to raise my six children alone was more money). One day, I realized I was missing out on spending time with my kids and that maybe we could get by on a little less money! Somehow we always have always had enough for what we need with me working only one job. Maybe it’s just God’s way of saying it was what he wanted all along.

  3. It’s amazing hoe you can live on less and less. I too am convinced that most of us can live on less than we are used to. Good for you for realizing it. Your kids need you way more than money! Praise God!
